Description
Dated 1786. 3 storeys and attic, rectangular tenement with slight set-back on E. Harled with ashlar cill bands, window and angle margins. Gable end to North St, shop at ground floor, 3 windows in 1st and 2nd floors, 2 in attic. Entrance on E front with simple, keystoned architrave inscribed "1786 HR/ JM". Some 12-pane glazing survives, also original casements to stair. Northern bays of both E and W fronts gabled. All gables with straight skews, scrolled skewputts and apex stacks. Slate roof. Interior: Broad, stone newel stair with moulded risers. Some simple shutters and panelling survive.
