Description
2-storey shop with attic, only a single bay wide. Edwardian Free Style. Harled with ashlar dressings. Tripartite in 1st floor with long and short dressings; 3 closely spaced windows in attic under flat roof. Pantiled roof swept to give broad eaves to flank the attic windows. The architects original design for the ground floor was only executed in 1982. This consists of a tall wide arched shop front. Before that it possessed a more modest and traditional frontage with a recessed door, pilaster strips, fascia and cornice.
