Description
Late classical, 4-storey polished ashlar (much repaired), sides are random rubble. Slated roof. 2 consoled tripartite windows with narrow centre lights at 1st floor.Consoled cornices over first floor windows. 2nd floor 4 windows, consoled cornices and rosette friezes, 3rd floor has 4 windows. There is a parapet with a slightly advanced panel inscribed with "Wilson's building 1848"; modern ground floor shop. Cost, including purchase of old property, was £7,000.
