Sites and Monument Record: Cowden Hill Cultivation Terraces (SMR 482)
Description
Broad terraces may be seen on the N side of this hill, the lower part of which have been removed by gravel extraction. Stone retaining walls are used, but it seems odd that these terraces should face N if used for cultivation.
