Established c1829. In 1900 George Cadell Stewart formed a limited company with himself, John Drummond Moir and John Jackson Tweedie as Directors. In 1975 the Company became a member of the Dorada Engineering Group, a subsiduary of Dorada Holdings Ltd. In 1987 there was a merger with A Ballantine & Sons and the following year the works were demolished.
