Sites and Monument Record: Calderfield (Wheatlands) Settlement (SMR 751)
Description
APs show an oval enclosure measuring about 200 ft NE-SW by 150 ft transversely. There appears to have been a bank and a ditch. Within the interior are indications of 5 or 6 round structures, presumably huts, each measuring between 20 ft and 30 ft in diameter.
This used to be called Wheatlands enclosure.
