Sites and Monument Record: Wester Carmuirs Fort (SMR 753)
Description
Triple ditch fort seen on APs to the E of the farmhouse of that name. It is roughly oval in shape with an entrance to the SE. Some ditches are clearly of different phases. Inside possible hut circles may be seen. Site badly damaged in 1993 when the farmer levelled the field.
