Site history notes
Large two storey house with single storey wings. The main block was symmetrically laid out with three windows to the first floor and one to either side of the doorway on the ground floor - all with backset margins. The lower storey of the central block has backset margins and a plain string course; whereas the upper storey has prominent quoins. The plain skews terminate in roll-moulded skewputs and the chimney heads had simple mouldings. The house probably dates to c1780. Porch added after the 1st ed OS map.
To the south was a walled garden and the house possessed a small estate with pantiled outbuildings to the east.
