Sites and Monument Record: Falkirk Girl Guide Hall (SMR 2083)
Description
Built in 1936 the hall has harled brick walls and a piended slate roof. The entrance faces east onto the Pleasance, where an angular porch protrudes from the main structure. The concrete door surround bears the clover leaf logo of the Girl Guide movement with the motto "BE PREPARED", as well as the date.
The grounds are surrounded by low boundary walls and two concrete piers support wrought iron gates carrying the initials "GG".
