Description
Thin rectangular tin plaque with eight perforations near the edge at each end for attaching it to a wooden board. The front carries elaborate decoration in relief consisting of geometrically arranged floral scrolls, tendrils and laurel swags, with a trumpet vase at the base and a demi-figure of a young boy at the top balancing a flower filled basket on his head.
The back is scored for keying to glue the plaque onto a board.
This is a cast tin version of the wooden pattern 1983-42-24, which has lost part of its decorative design.
