Description
The charabanc is crowded with men and women dressed for an outing in summer. It has pneumatic tyres and oil or acetylene gas lights. The seats are in rows each with its own door. The soft top is folded down at the back of the vehicle.

By the mid 1920s, buses and charabancs were being used for quite long excursions. For example Alexanders ran a pioneering excursion by bus to John o Groats in 1920. It published a list of tours for the 1925 season.
