View looking across Bonny Water to Toll, Bridge Street and Main Street. The two-storey building appears to house a shop and outside it are two carts. They both have two large wheels. Next to one of the cottages is a gate and near it a man is holding the reins of a saddled horse.

The gate is next to the toll keeper's house and would have been used to close the road until payment of the toll was given. The shop is in a building previously Lilybank House and later to become the Post Office.
