Description
Two large heavy doors from office at Carron Phoenix. These were made to use older glass but it is not clear where the glass was before this, possibly also in doors. The old glass is now sandwiched between two new sheets of glass. It is decorated with foliage and shows the Carron logo in the centre with the phoenix and crossed cannon and the moto "ESTO PERPETUA" with "INCORPORATED BY ROYAL CHARTER 1759" underneath. The colours are dulled and are gold, blue and pink with one pane of glass looking much dirtier than the other - the dirt is sealed inside the new glass. Beading around glass in uneven.
