Copper alloy printing plate for a bank note from the Falkirk Union Bank. Plate for a one guinea note, both sides of the plate have the same text but one is upside down.
On the proper left is "ONE GUINEA TRIA JUNCTA IN UND G PARON FERPIT THE FALKIRK UNION BANK PROMISE TO PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND ONE GUINEA AT THEIR OFFICE BY ORDER OF THE COMPANY CASHIERE.
