Riley type vulcanite internal screw bottle stopper embossed with "J&W REID / RILEY" on both sides.

Probably from James A Reid, Helensbugh who was owner of Lilly Springs factory and was well known in the area. According to one source he was a brother of the Falkirk Reid Bros who also produced aerated waters but the companies do not seem to have ever been linked.
