Description
Depiction of a shipbreaking yard, presumed local, dated 1962. A semi abstract work, it shows a lamp post on a dock in the foreground with a sail ship in the middle ground and cranes and other ships in the background. It is gouache painted onto a heavy paper.
On the rear is a label with the artists address and a number. There is also a tied on label from the Royal Scottish Academy with details of the work and a catalogue number.
