Description
Seal in the form of a piston-shape steel cylinder with the base containing an engraving showing a bird in the centre (a falcon looking to the sinister) surrounded by a garter inscribed "FIDE ET MARTE" meaning "With fidelity and bravery", being the clan motto of the Ralston family of Balquhatstone. The engraving is reversed.
