Description
Everted rim jar in light grey fabric. The surface from the body over the rim appears white as if slipped, below this it is orange externally. The peculiar colouration may be the result of secondary burning, but the white surface certainly indicates treatment of some sort, either a slip or slurrying of the surface with water.
