Description
Two ceramic figures representing Wild Bill Hickok and Annie Oakley, although other people have been suggested. The man is wearing a hat, waistcoat and jacket with a blue cravat, riding boots and trousers and is seated on a horse. He is facing to one side of the horse with one hand on the horses hind quarters. The woman is sitting side saddle and facing to the side with a long white dress and matching bonnet. She has a blue necklace on. Both horses are brown, tan and with some white and both are rearing up on hind legs. The "grass" under the horses is long and green with some gold. Both figures have traces of gold trims.
The figures were registered by Bridgeness Pottery in 1907.
