Flower Diary 'Ferns and Flowers' by Jane Russel Wilson of South Bantaskine House in Falkirk. With little note of Sara Wade, 24th April 1971. The contents of the botanical drying album are in relation to her travels to Kendal (1899), Windermere, Grasmere, Lancashire, Westmorland, Ullswatar, Kent, Exeter, South Devon, Torquay (1885), Sussex Harting, Gibraltar (1893), Egypt Cairo, The Nile, Jaffa, Jerusalem, The Holy Land, Solomon's Pools, Jericho, Jordan, Nablous, Nazareth, Tiberias, Galilee, Jordan, Damascus (1893), Algiers (1896, 1897), Algeria, Algeria (1897), Biskra (1897), The Kablye Country, France (1897), Monmouth (1893), Yorkshire (1893), Norway (1900), Sorum (1900), Feildheim (1900), Valsder's Route. Jane decoratively arranged the dried ferns and flowers and captioned the location and time.
