Bus dating from about 1920 is at a road junction. It has 'Tramways' painted on its side. Across the road is a war memorial. The housing varies from three-storey tenements to thatched cottages.

Bannockburn Route. Previously incorrectly identified as Larbert Cross. Falkirk and District Tramways buses from c1919 had 'General' painted on their sides, not 'Tramways'. Before that the livery was grey.
