View of a steam cargo ship with three masts equipped with derricks and fore-and-aft rigging. Her engines and bridge are amidships. She is lying in a rocky cove with her anchor out and cables running from her foremast to the shore perhaps to take the crew off. Alongside her is a paddle tug. Ship bought for salvage by Capt D.R. Sinclair in 1900

SS Croma was bought in Orkney by Captain Daniel Sinclair (see P14098) for salvage. The paddle tug alongside is the 'Tyne' registered at Grangemouth. It may have been engaged to tow the Croma back to Grangemouth
