It shows the artist's impression of what is taking place inside the building, in this case the moulding shop. In 1980 the firm sponsored the artist Ken White to paint the murals on some of the exterior walls of the Columbia Stove Works. He did not work alone and some of the work was done by employees of the company. The foundry and stove works was closed in 1984 and the buildings were demolished.
