Description
Portable carbon dioxide testing apparatus from the mining industry. It takes the form of a wooden box with glass flasks and tubes connected by rubber hoses and stoppers - all attached to the inside of the lid. A small label on the front of the box reads "BAIRD & CATLOCK/ (LONDON) LTD/ REGD./ 14-17 ST. CROSS STREET/ LONDON/ ENGLAND".
It was latterly used by Falkirk College of Technology for training purposes.
