 Description
Navy blue Civil Defence woman's greatcoat.Double breasted with two rows of 5 buttons with "CD" and crown stamped on the buttons. Button down lapel on each shoulder with similar buttons. Two pocket at front near waist. Slit at back of coat with button to hold closed half way down slit. On inside is a white label with black print that reads "GREATCOATS/ WOMEN CD.22/ Size 5/ Height 5'2" to 5'4"/ Breast...33" to 34"/ Waist 25" to 26"/ TOWER CLOTHIERS. LTD./ 1953" with the broad arrow symbol. Printed on the inside of the lapel is "5 / 5.2/ 5.4"
