Description
Black long sleeve bodice made from a treated cotton(?). Closes down the front with a row of buttons (missing). Black beading down font along shoulders and at cuffs. Items is very shaped and heavily boned with two pads inside the bodice. Straps to connect to dress on inside. Cuffs have beading and four decorative buttons (one missing proper right cuff). On white band sewn into sleeve is "GUARANTEED BY G.J. BONNET & Gie PERFECTION OF" and printed on the strap is "SIMPSON, HUNTER & YOUNG./ 59 BUCHANAN STREET/ GLASGOW/ Silk Mercers & Costumers".
