handkerchief sachet
Description
Corded silk handkerchief sachet (wallet). Square form made from two pieces of material sewn together around three sides with a third pieces attached to form a covering flap. A fringe is made from a series of small lengths of silk thread laid double along the edges of the flap and stitched down with ornamental stitching. The ends of the threads have been teased our. Ecru coloured, embroidered with basket of flowers and leaves and inscription "Handkerchiefs".
