token; advertising (Remington Typewriter)

Description
Metal advertising or commemorative token issued by the Remington Typewriter Company to honour the House of Sax-Coburg and Gotha (Windsors).
On the obverse is bust of Queen Victoria (wearing the Jubilee Diadem of 1887), Edward VII, George V and a young Edward VIII, all facing left with a crown above. Embossed on this side is "FOUR GENERATIONS OF THE BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY 1896". On the reverse is the Royal Coat-of-Arms and Prince of Wales feathers with "BY APPOINTMENT TO H.M. THE QUEEN REMINGTON TYPEWRITER H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES 100 GRACECHURCH ST. E.C.".
