Description
Medal awarded by the French Societe Protectrice des Animoux. The obverse shows Justice holding a pair of scales in her right hand and surrounded by animals. Above the figure's head is a star.To the left of the figure is a horse and dog and to the right a bull and cat. Below is embossed: "SOCIETE/ PROTECTRICE DES ANIMOUX/ A PARIS". The reverse has the engraved inscription "A/ MR CUVILLIER/ (JOSEPH)/ 1911" within a wreath.
Badly worn but these were designed by A Doublemard whose name usually appears below the figure's hand along the edge.
