Description
Pistol . It is decorated on the brass trigger guard with with an engraving of two hunting horns crossed under a wolf's head with 3 more hunting horns about surmounted by flowers above and below tapering into seven leafed flower at point. The side is decorated with 14 leaves radiating from a central stem. Engraved on the sideplate is "WILKISON", stamped on the barrel is a viewmark "V". Stamped on the barrel is the proofmark "BCP". The viewmark and proof marks are from the Guardians of the Birmingham Proof House. The hammer is missing.
