Description
Small individual glass fruit dish made to commemorate the coronation in 1953 of Queen Elizabeth II of England. It is clear with a green base and a gilt trim. The body is globular with ribbing towards the base ad the stand has an upturned base for pips etc. The side is decorated with a coat of arms with a crown between two lions in three places. The transfer on a banner below the monogram "EIIR" reads "2ND JUNE CORONATION 1953" On a banner and repeated twice.
