Description
Cream coloured teapot with green and brown mottled glaze finish. To one side is a panel surrounded with moulded ivy leaf decoration. The panel has a dark green background and the letters "Mrs Grant, Grangemouth" have been engraved through this to reveal the cream base. The body is bulbous and has a broad central band. The thick handle is ridged and has a spur. The spout has ribbing on the under belly and a cut lip. The handle has a small moulded twig handle. This is the same teapot mould as 1972-75-5.
Stamped DUNMORE in type 4 sans serif near the rim.
Small chip on edge of lid and on the end of the spout.
