Description
Small boy in studio setting, seated on a balustrade with 'hills' in the background. He is wearing clothing common to boys and girls under about five, at this period - a short dress, and strap shoes with white socks. The dress has short puffed sleeves, and has buttons down the front, bounded on either side by a narrow strip of material darker than the dress. A tasselled cord belt is round the waist.
