Description
Long case clock with a brass dial by James Hendrie of Falkirk, c1750. Oak case. The hinges and lock on the door have been replaced in the 20th century. The back panel of wood also appears to be a replacement, as are the columns to either side of the dial. The latter should be engaged.
Brass plate with dial has a added in cartouche and the chapter ring was possibly once silvered, some traces remain.
