money box

Description
Metal money box with rounded corners and a loop handle. It has a dark grey body with gold coloured veining. The label riveted onto the front reads "FALKIRK & DISTRICT./ Savings Bank/ Home Safe".
This design was popular in the 20s/30s with lots of banks using the same design and maker, so it is probably from then. The banks held the keys for them and you had to bring it in to get them emptied hence you sometimes see them called home safes
