Description
In a room lit by roof lights, gas mantle and electric light, howitzer bombs are being finished. A man is working on a top hole ensuring that it is the correct size for the fuse. Fuse casings sit on the bench. Behind him are three munitionettes, with pots of varnish. To the right are painted casings awaiting varnishing. From "Munition Work Record.
