Description
Bronze army cap badge worn by a member of the Volunteer Force, 1917-18. The Royal coat-of-arms are supported by a lion and a unicorn. The shield is encircled by a garter and surmounted by a lion on a crown. The lower ribbon reads DIEU ET MON DROIT. There are two bent attachment arms at the back.
This badge was also used from 1914, for the General List and later the General Service Corps.
