Description
Teapot with side panel bordered by moulded ivy leaves. The panel has a muted green background, through which the words "From/ Dunmore" have been engraved. The leaves are dark green. The remainder of the body has a cream/fawn glaze with dappled green and brown spattering. Simple moulded handle with notch. Moulded spout similar to the bisque one found in 2002. Broad band around the waist of the body. The lid is deeply recessed and has a moulded handle in the form of a twig and a single perforation. This is the same teapot mould as 1982-48-1.
Stamped DUNMORE near the rim above the spout. Type 4 sans serif. The same stamp is used on the base, along with the number 3.
