Description
Jug with bulbous body with swelling cylindrical neck terminating in a pinched spout; finished in green glaze. There are three grooves at the waist and two in the upper part of the neck. On the neck and body, opposite the spout, are smudge marks under the glaze where a handle should have been fixed - but which never happened.
Stamped "DUNMORE POTTERY" on the outside of the foot ring.
3 stilt marks on the base.
