 Description
Silver plated trophy with domed lid. "Laurieston/ - Westquarter/ HORTICULTURAL/ SOCIETY/ presented by/ DAVID HAIN ESQ./ March 27th/ 1907./ The HAIN/ CHALLENGE CUP/ won by J. Dewar". This trophy was replaced by a new one in 1984. The figure 2 has been scratched onto the inside of the lid and the underside of the base. At this latter position is also to be found "Thistle q x x " again scratched on.
