Moulding machine or rammer; painted yellow by the Museum. On the sides: "J. W. JACKMAN Co LTD LONDON AND MANCHESTER".
Used by Paul George and Co, Duncarron Iron Works, Denny, between 1930 and 1970. It was used to simplify the perpetration of mould boxes - especially cutting out the need to lift heavy boxes and reverse them. It could also be used to compact sand into mould boxes.
