Galvanometer with a bakelite case and a wooden stool-type stand. Straps on underside of galvanometer. Wooden stand had electric transformer, little metal attachment on opposite side of the electric connection. Electric box has flex with connectors at end.

Between the knob on proper back right "400 OHMS" in centre back is "No L-153102" with symbol. Beneath that "CLAMP FREE"
Sticker removed from back right.
Part 2: Moulded on electric box "200-250 VOLTS 40-60-0.83A G.E.C.BELL TRANSFOMER COMPLIANT WITH B.S. SPECIFICATION NO. 632\45 CLASS A MADE IN ENGLAND BY THE GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. LTD. OF ENGLAND (image with "12V 4V 8V").
