Description
Teal coloured glazed figurine of a seated Boxer dog. The dog is sitting sideways with his two back legs are touching the front right leg. His head is looking sideways, ears down. Bullish face with dimples where the whiskers would have been. The thin pointed tail lies along the back with a slight curve. The mould seam passes along the centre of the back, over top of the head and down the centre of the stomach. Thick bluish green glaze with dappling. Where it is thinnest the colour is very pale.
The glaze has accumulated on the underside of the figurine, covering the DUNMORE stamp. This makes it difficult to read the stamp, but it is a type 1.
