Description
Phosphor bronze cast of Sir John de Graeme's sword taken from his monumental tomb in Falkirk Parish Churchyard. Made by the Falkirk Iron Co on 3rd May 1869 from the sword in the possession of the Auchterarder No 46 St John's Lodge of Freemasons. The tip and hilt are missing and the blade is coloured green. There are three circular holes on the lower edge which were used as attachment points. Part of the central groove or blood slot occurs at the hilt end. It is inscribed on both sides.
