Description
View of a two-storey stone built farmhouse with slate roof and portico at door. Single storey farm buildings form three sides of a square. One has a pantile roof, the rest are slate. In the field next to the house there are eight haystacks visible.
The house was built in the late 18th century. In the middle distance there is the partially roofless mill building. The River Avon powered several mills. There are more haystacks to the right and left of the mill. The hill in the distance is Cockleroy.

My Dear late Father “ William Kidd Brodie “ purchased this Farm in 1947.( it was on an Estate that was Sold off. The Mill had a Water Driven Turbine & Provided Electricity to other properties Namely “ Manuel House “ the Stables & Cottages etc.
