View along Seaview Place. The pub is advertising Allsopp's Pale Ale. A two-wheeled horse and cart laden with deliveries is waiting outside. The building with the large entrance has a sign 'Clydesdale Hotel' on the roof. The bar is on the right while the stables and their hayloft are on the left. Below the railings is the hotel basement where the beer barrels were stored.
