Description
German one mark note or Darlehnskassenscheine. The Darlehnskassenscheine (loan fund note) were paper money issued by the State Loan Office and circulated alongside the Reichsbank notes.
The papiermark or Mark became the German currency from 04 August 1914 after the link between the Goldmark and gold was abandoned due to the First World War.
