Description
Pair of large black leather shoes with square toes. These belonged to Sir Charles Napier of Merchiston Hall and were displayed in the front window of Aiston's shoe shop in Grahams Road for a long period (see p16302). There are two holes in the soles of each shoe where they were mounted for the display.
Left shoe torn near heel and right one near the lace.
