Metal badge with St Andrew and his cross in the centre in a red oval. Below, in a blue ribbon, are the words "THE ROYAL SCOTS". Bronze coloured border.
This appears to be a sweetheart brooch, these were smaller version of cap badge but with differences from the original. They were given to wives, sisters and girlfriends during the Fist World War.
