The kitchen is equipped with a hot plate 1.5m long, a bread oven, and a range 4.5m long. The elliptical fireplace is 2.0m high and 2.4m wide and has one horizontal and two vertical roasting spits. Part of the range was converted to gas as early as 1850, using gas piped from the town.
